Google not supporting it’s own products?

I was surfing the net today when I came across this on Google Maps, does Google not support Chrome with Maps? I was using the ‘basic html’ version because our internet was slow, if you want to see this go to:

    That is odd I tried it and the link you posted did the same thing for me but then I tried http://maps.google.com/maps?tab=yl and it was fine(in chrome and chromium). That is curious google.co.uk not supporting chrome?
